History
Nakamizuno Station opened on 31 January 1988 with the inauguration of the third-sector Aichi Loop Railway between Shin-Toyota and Kōzōji. The two-platform elevated station was originally unstaffed; staffing began on 1 April 1998. The Setoshi-Kōzōji segment surrounding the station was doubled on 3 October 2004, and TOICA acceptance began on 2 March 2019. The east-side platform, used by trains toward Okazaki, handles only four-car-length stops, so eight-car through-services from the Chūō Line use door-cutting to skip cars that overhang the platform.
Notes
The east-side platform, used by trains toward Okazaki, can take only four cars, so eight-car through services from the Chūō Line lock the doors on cars that overhang it.
