History
Naha City Hospital Station (Shiritsu-byōin-mae) opened on 10 August 2003 in the Furujima district of Naha, as part of the original Yui Rail line from Naha Airport to Shuri. It is station 13 on the Okinawa Urban Monorail. The provisional name during planning was "Sueyoshi Station." The elevated station has an island platform serving two tracks and connects directly to Naha City Hospital. The local OKICA IC card became usable on 20 October 2014 and Suica on 10 March 2020.
Notes
The arrival chime is an arrangement of the Miyako folk song "Kuichā," connecting passengers to the music of the Miyako Islands as they reach the station.
