Location
History
Nagata Station opened on 1 June 1913 in the Nagata neighborhood of Fukaya, Saitama, on the Chichibu Railway's Chichibu Main Line, which runs 71.7 km between Hanyū and Mitsumineguchi; the station sits 27.1 km from Hanyū. No renaming is recorded. It is an at-grade station with a wooden station building, one side platform, and one island platform serving three tracks, the third being a bidirectional freight loop that passenger trains do not normally use. PASMO IC card service was introduced at the station on 12 March 2022. Local all-stations trains call at the station, while the SL Paleo Express and the Chichibu-ji express pass through without stopping; the Arakawa River and National Route 140 lie nearby.
