Location

History

Nabera Station opened on 25 March 1989 with the Tarumi Railway's extension of the Tarumi Line from Kōmi Station to Tarumi Station, located 26.4 rail kilometres from the line's terminus at Ōgaki. The station stands in a mountainous part of Motosu, Gifu Prefecture, and remains an unattended halt operated by the private Tarumi Railway. It consists of a single ground-level side platform serving a bi-directional track, with no station building; only a small single-pitched-roof shelter sits on the platform. Station staff were sometimes posted here when it first opened.

Notes

The station sits in a heavily wooded mountain area, where the surrounding trees can leave it dim even in daytime.
