Location

History

Mizuhodai Station opened on 21 October 1977 as a Tōbu Tōjō Line station serving the city of Fujimi in Saitama Prefecture, 20.6 km from the line's Ikebukuro terminus. The station has a single island platform serving two tracks, with an elevated station building above the platform, and only Semi Express and Local trains call. Through-running to Shibuya via the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line began on 14 June 2008, and station numbering introduced on 17 March 2012 made it "TJ-16". Through-running was extended on 16 March 2013 to Yokohama and Motomachi-Chūkagai via the Tōkyū Tōyoko Line and Minatomirai Line, and extended again on 18 March 2023 via the Tōkyū Shin-Yokohama Line, the Sōtetsu Shin-Yokohama Line, the Sōtetsu Main Line and the Sōtetsu Izumino Line.
