Location
History
Miyatachō Station is a stop on the Iyotetsu Ōtemachi Line in Miyatachō, Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, with stop number 06. It is used by city tram (Matsuyama City Line) routes 1 and 2. It was newly opened on 1 February 1967 on the Ōtemachi Line between Komachi and Kokutetsu-ekimae (now JR Matsuyama-eki-mae).
Notes
Miyatachō Station has a single track with platforms on both sides — two opposed platforms sharing one track. It is the first stop on a dedicated right-of-way when approaching from JR Matsuyama-eki-mae, and the end of the platform on the JR Matsuyama-eki-mae side sits exactly at the boundary with the street-running section.
