History
Miyanoshita Station opened on 1 June 1919 on the Hakone Tozan Line, 12.1 km from the line's terminus at Odawara. The station has two opposed side platforms linked by a level crossing at the Ohiradai end. On 1 April 2024 operating responsibility passed to Odakyu Hakone as part of a wider Odakyu Group restructuring of Hakone-area services. The station became fully unstaffed on 1 February 2024.
Notes
Each year from around June to July, when the hydrangeas are in bloom, the line runs the all-reserved-seat special train "Yoru no Ajisai-gō" (Night Hydrangea).
