History

Mitsukuchi Station opened as a station on the Asanogawa Electric Railway on 10 May 1925. It became a station on Hokuriku Railroad's Asanogawa Line when Hokuriku Railroad merged with Asanogawa Electric Railway on 1 October 1945. Its station number is A06, and it operates as a ground-level station with a single platform serving one track. The adjacent stations are Waridashi (A05) and Mitsuya (A07). A like-sounding Mitsukuchi Station (三ツ口駅), written with different characters, also existed on Hokuriku Railroad's Nomi Line, which was abolished in 1980.

Notes

Until the abolition of the Hokuriku Railroad Nōmi Line in 1980, the network had two stations pronounced "Mitsukuchi" — this one (三口) on the Asanogawa Line and another (三ツ口) on the now-vanished Nōmi Line.
