History

Mitakeguchi Station opened on 21 August 1920 as Mitake Station on what is now Meitetsu's Hiromi Line, in the town of Mitake, Gifu Prefecture. It was renamed Mitakeguchi on 1 April 1952. The station sits 21.7 km from the line's terminus at Inuyama and consists of a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track. There is no station building, and the station is unattended.

Notes

The station kept the name "Mitake" for over three decades before adopting "Mitakeguchi" ("Mitake gateway") in 1952.
