History

Minoh-Semba Handai-mae Station is a Kita-Osaka Kyūkō Railway station in Minoh, Osaka Prefecture, which feeds directly into the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. The station name was settled in 2018 and the stop opened on 23 March 2024, after construction delays moved completion well beyond the original 2020 target. Its layout is an island platform serving two tracks. The station’s suffix refers to Osaka University: the adjacent Minoh campus, the station’s namesake, hosts the School of Foreign Studies, which absorbed the former Osaka University of Foreign Studies Minoh campus.
