History

Minoo Station opened on 10 March 1910 under the name Minoo Koen Station, the terminus of what is now the Hankyu Minoo Line in the city of Minoh, Osaka Prefecture. It was renamed Minoo around 1931 or 1932. The station sits 4.0 kilometres from the other end of the line and is operated by Hankyu Railway. Hankyu introduced systemwide station numbering on 21 December 2013, assigning Minoo the code HK-59. The station has two bay platforms and serves as the gateway to Meiji-no-Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park, with Minoh Falls some 2.7 kilometres — about 40 minutes on foot — away.

Notes

The city government officially romanises the name as "Minoh", even though the station name is commonly romanised "Minoo" (or "Minō").
