Location
History
Minami-Yoshida Station opened on 10 June 1965 on the Japanese National Railways' Echigo Line, situated 47.8 kilometres from the line's terminus at Kashiwazaki. Control passed to JR East at the 1 April 1987 privatisation of JNR. A new station building was completed in March 2000. The station has a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track and is unattended. Suica farecards cannot be used at this station. It sits within the city of Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, near Tsubame City Hall.
