History

Mikanodai Station opened on 1 September 1984 as the access point for the Nankai Mikanodai New Town in Kawachinagano, Osaka Prefecture. Built by the Nankai Electric Railway on its Kōya Line, the station carries station number NK71 and sits 30.6 km from Namba and 31.3 km from the line's Shiomibashi terminus. Two ground-level side platforms are connected by an elevated station building above the tracks. In fiscal 2019 the station was used by an average of 3,659 passengers daily.
