Location
History
Midorino Station opened on 24 August 2005 on the Tsukuba Express, operated by the Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company, in the city of Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture. It carries the station number TX17 and is 48.6 kilometres from the line's official starting point at Akihabara. The station is built on a viaduct with two opposed side platforms and a station building underneath. It stands close to the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization and several other national agricultural research institutes.
