History
Matsumori Station opened on 1 April 1999 on the Nagaragawa Railway Etsumi-Nan Line as the replacement stop for the now-defunct Matsumori Station on the Meitetsu Minomachi Line, which closed on 31 March 1999. The station carries number 10.
Notes
The unstaffed ground-level station has a single side platform and stands in Matsumori, Mino, Gifu Prefecture, near the National Route 156 / Gifu Prefectural Route 343 intersection and the Mino IC of the Tōkai-Hokuriku Expressway, so the area around the station is dotted with restaurants and shopping centres. The entrance is at the Mino-Ōta end of the platform, with a bicycle parking area beside it. According to the published daily-average figures, ridership has hovered between roughly 40 and 120 passengers per day since the station opened in 1999.
