History
Maehira-Kōen Station is a petitioned station newly built on 11 December 1986, when Japanese National Railways' Etsumi-Nan Line was converted to the Nagaragawa Railway. It is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track, with a roofed simple waiting shelter on the platform. The entrance is provided at the Kamono end. It is unstaffed, and its station number is 1. On the Nagaragawa Railway's Etsumi-Nan Line it is the first intermediate station out from Mino-Ōta Station, the line's starting point.
