History

Konno Station is a station newly built on 11 December 1986, when Japanese National Railways' Etsumi-Nan Line was converted to the Nagara River Railway. It is located at Ueda, Minami-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture, on the Nagara River Railway's Etsumi-Nan Line, with station number 16. It is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track, with a waiting room on the platform; it is unstaffed, with an entrance set toward the Hokuno end of the platform. There is a settlement behind the station, the roadside station Michi-no-Eki Minami lies along National Route 156 in front of the station, and the Nagara River flows to the station's west.
