Location

History

Koboreguchi Station, on what is now the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line, sits in Abeno-ku, Osaka, near Bishōen Station on JR West's Hanwa Line. It is an elevated station with two side platforms, each serving one track, on the fourth level. The station opened on 16 October 1923 as part of the Osaka Railway between Ōsaka-Tennōji (now Ōsaka-Abenobashi) and Harinakano.

Notes

The station's name derives from a moat that the courtier Wake no Kiyomaro began excavating across the Uemachi Plateau in 788.
