History

Kiyohara-chiku-shimin-sentā-mae Station (no. 11) is an Utsunomiya Light Rail Utsunomiya-Haga LRT Line tram stop in Kiyohara-kōgyō-danchi, Utsunomiya, at the centre of Utsunomiya Kiyohara Industrial Park. It is integrated with the adjoining Kiyohara Transit Centre (Kiyohara TC), a major intermodal hub with four bus bays, a 90-space park-and-ride lot, 70 bicycle spaces, two taxi bays, a community-transit bay and a waiting room with toilets. The provisional name during planning was "Kiyohara Kanri-sentā-mae". The stop's name was decided on 23 April 2021, and it opened on 26 August 2023. The JR Bus Kanto routes that had served the transit centre were all abolished on 31 March 2026. The stop has a single island platform serving two tracks.

Notes

Until 31 March 2026 the transit centre was the terminus of the JR Bus Kanto routes run by the company's Utsunomiya branch — the Kiyohara–Ichihana line towards Ichihana Station, two Kiyohara Industrial Park circulars and a Kiyoharadai / Yui-no-mori circular — all of which were abolished on that date. It remains the interchange for Utsunomiya City's community buses ("Kiyohara Sakigake" and "Kiyohara Hikari") and for two demand-responsive shared taxis, "Seinan Smile" and "Itado Nozomi", which serve households in the Kiyohara area and its northern Itado district that scheduled bus routes do not reach.
