History

Kita-Sanjūyo-Jō Station opened on 16 March 1978 on the Sapporo Municipal Subway's Namboku Line, in conjunction with the line's extension between Kita-Nijūyo-Jō and Asabu. Located in Kita-ku, Sapporo, it carries the station number N02 and is an intermediate stop on the Namboku Line's northern section. National Route 5 and National Route 274 run through the surrounding area, which also holds the Kita-Sanjūyo-Jō post office, a police box, the Kita branch of the Sapporo Justice Bureau and local shops and banks.
