History

Kita-Gōdo Station opened on 27 March 1986 as a station on the Kintetsu Yōrō Line. It is the last station to have opened on the Yōrō Line; in exchange for its opening, the Meihan Kintetsu Bus route between Ida, Yokoi, Shiratori, Gōdo-Kitaisshiki, and Ida was abolished that same month. It was transferred to the Yōrō Railway on 1 October 2007, when management was separated from Kintetsu. It is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track; because it has no passing loop, both Ibi-bound and Ōgaki-bound trains arrive and depart from the same platform. A ramp is provided at the entrance leading up to the platform. It has been unstaffed from the outset, and an automatic ticket vending machine is scheduled to be installed from 5 January 2026.

Notes

In front of the station, in the garden of the Gōdo Town Library, there is a model train display donated by enthusiasts, located right across from the platform (open to the public on an irregular basis).
