Location

History

Kira Yoshida Station opened on 25 August 1928 as Mikawa Yoshida Station on the Mikawa Railway in what is now Nishio, Aichi Prefecture. The line later passed to Meitetsu, and the station was renamed to its present form on 1 November 1960. Today it is operated by Meitetsu as a junction, served by the Nishio Line 24.7 kilometres from that line's starting point at Shin-Anjō and forming the terminus of the Gamagōri Line 17.6 kilometres from Gamagōri. The station has two pairs of opposed side platforms set at an angle to each other in a V shape, with platform 1 out of service; it is staffed and equipped with Manaca turnstiles.

Notes

The station's two pairs of opposed side platforms are set at an angle to one another, forming a V shape; platform 1 is not in use.
