History

Kintetsu-Nippombashi Station is an underground railway station on the Kintetsu Namba Line in Nippombashi Itchōme, Chūō-ku, Osaka, opened in 1970. Trains of Kintetsu's Nara Line call here, while Ōsaka-Line passengers must change at Ōsaka Uehommachi or Tsuruhashi. The station has two side platforms, each serving one track, on the third basement level, with two ticket gates on the second basement and an additional "Niji Gate" on the first basement connecting to the Namba Walk underground concourse. Entrances are on the first basement, near the ticket gates of the connecting Osaka Metro Nippombashi Station on the Sakaisuji and Sennichimae lines.

Notes

The station's street address is 1-18-14 Nippombashi, in Chūō-ku, and its entrances lie on the first basement level beside the ticket gates of the Osaka Metro's separate Nippombashi Station, which is served by the Sakaisuji and Sennichimae lines.
