History
Kazamatsuri Station opened on 10 October 1935 when Hakone Tozan Railway, founded seven years earlier in 1928, converted its Odawara-to-Hakone-Yumoto tram line into a full railway. The station was completely reconstructed in 2007-2008, replacing the original single island platform with two opposed side platforms. Station numbering OH49 was added in January 2014, and operation transferred to Odakyu Hakone on 1 April 2024 as part of an Odakyu Group restructure of its Hakone businesses.
Notes
Original single island platform was scrapped in the 2007–2008 reconstruction in favour of two opposed side platforms.
