Location
History
Kawachi-Kokubu Station is a station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line in Kashiwara, Osaka Prefecture. It opened in 1927 and was known simply as Kokubu until 1941. The station has two island platforms serving two tracks each, and there is frequent overtaking and connection between trains here. In the daytime three express trains an hour call at the station, along with three semi-express services and one local train an hour, and semi-express trains from the Osaka direction stop at every station between here and Nabari. Takaida Station on the JR West Kansai Line (Yamatoji Line) lies across the Yamato River from it, and Domyoji Station on the Minami Osaka Line is also in the surrounding area.
