Location

History

Kawabeoki Station is a JR Suigun Line station that opened on 1 June 1959 in Tamakawa, Ishikawa District, Fukushima Prefecture. It passed to JR East at the division and privatization of JNR in April 1987. It is a ground-level station with a single platform serving one track, with a small shelter on the platform. It is an unstaffed station managed by the Suigun Line Control Center (at Hitachi-Daigo Station); the surrounding area includes the Abukuma River, National Route 118, Kawabe Hachiman Shrine, and a Fukushima Kōtsū bus stop.
