Location
History
Katsutadai Station opened on 1 May 1968 on the Keisei Main Line in the city of Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture, operated by Keisei Electric Railway. It lies 40.3 kilometres from the Tokyo terminus at Keisei-Ueno and is built around two opposed side platforms connected by underpasses to the station building beneath the tracks. An underground passage was added in 1997 linking the station to the adjacent Tōyō-Katsutadai Station on the Tōyō Rapid Railway, creating an effective interchange between the two lines. Keisei introduced station numbering across all of its lines on 17 July 2010, and Katsutadai carries the code KS31.
