Location
History
Kamo Station opened on 3 February 2005 as a subway stop on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka. Its immediate surroundings include Kamo Shrine, Fukuoka Dental College and Fukuoka College of Health Sciences. The station's symbol is a violet catfish, the sign of the neighbouring Kamo Shrine.
Notes
The station symbol is a violet catfish, a deliberate nod to the neighbouring Kamo Shrine rather than to the station name itself.
