History
Kamimatsukawa Station opened on 10 January 1964 on the Fukushima Kōtsū Iizaka Line in Minamisawamata, in the city of Fukushima, Fukushima Prefecture. The station sits 3.7 km from the Iizaka Line’s starting point at Fukushima and has a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track. On three-car trains the two doors at the Fukushima end, out of the nine in the set, are not opened here. The ticket window is staffed during weekday mornings and evenings, and during the daytime on holidays. Facilities include a ticket vending machine, NORUCA-compatible simple gates and a waiting room. In fiscal 2010 the station recorded 364 boarding passengers per day.
Notes
On three-car trains, two of the nine doors — those at the Fukushima end — are never opened at Kamimatsukawa.
