History
Junshin-gakuen-mae Station is a Kagoshima City Tram Tōsō Line tram stop in Kōrimoto 1-chōme, Kagoshima, serving Route 2. The stop was opened on 20 December 1959 by the Kagoshima City Transportation Bureau. It has two opposed side platforms at-grade, and neither manual nor powered wheelchairs can be used because the platform width is below the regulation minimum; it is unstaffed and tickets are not sold on site. Nearby are the eponymous Kagoshima Junshin Girls' Academy (which actually sits on a hill some distance from the stop), the Kagoshima Junshin Women's Junior College, the Kagoshima Junshin Girls' Junior & Senior High Schools, the Kagoshima University Faculty of Law-Letters and Faculty of Education, the Kagoshima University Educational Faculty's affiliated middle school, and JR Kyushu's Kōrimoto Station.
