Location
History
Izumi Station opened on 4 March 1940 as a station of the Fukushima Electric Railway (Fukushima Denki Tetsudō), the predecessor of today's Fukushima Kōtsū Iizaka Line. It is located 3.0 km from the Iizaka Line's Fukushima terminus.
Notes
Izumi is the only station on the Iizaka Line with an overbridge: its elevated station building doubles as a footbridge over the tracks down to a single island platform.
