Location

History

Izu-Hokkawa Station sits on the privately owned Izu Kyūkō Line in the town of Higashiizu, Shizuoka Prefecture, 22.9 kilometres from Itō and 39.8 kilometres from Atami. The station has a single side platform on an embankment, with the station building at the same embankment level, and has been unattended since 1 April 2012. It is operated by Izukyū Corporation. In February 2025 Izukyū agreed naming rights with the Hokkawa Onsen Ryokan Association to add a 39-character promotional sub-name describing the surrounding attractions.

Notes

Suica and the IC cards interoperable with it are accepted at every station on the Izu Kyūkō Line, but Izu-Hokkawa has no top-up machine, so cards cannot be recharged here.
