History

Isozaki Station opened on 3 September 1924 and stands in what is now the city of Hitachinaka, Ibaraki Prefecture, on the 14.3 km Minato Line of the third-sector operator Hitachinaka Seaside Railway. The station is unstaffed and consists of a single curved side platform serving the single-track line, situated 13.3 km from the line's starting point at Katsuta Station.

Notes

The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology's Sunspot Research Center, a solar-observation facility, stands in the immediate surroundings of this small Minato Line halt.
