Location
History
Isaryō Station opened on 30 October 1935 on the Yonesaka Line in the mountainous town of Oguni, Nishiokitama District, Yamagata Prefecture, 50.0 rail kilometres from the line's terminus at Yonezawa. The station passed to JR East at the privatisation of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987. The current station building dates from December 1993, and the unattended station has one side platform serving a single bi-directional track.
