History
Ino Station opened on 22 September 1983 on the Yamaman Yūkarigaoka Line, a people mover system that serves Yūkarigaoka, a planned community in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture. It is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track, and has no restroom. Service runs in only one direction here: trains arrive from Chūgakkō Station and continue on toward Kōen Station, departing roughly every 20 minutes. On 15 June 2024 the ticket gates added a facial-recognition boarding system called Yukari PASS. Ino Station continues to serve Yūkarigaoka's residents today.
Notes
The ticket gates at this small suburban station gained a facial-recognition boarding system, Yukari PASS, in June 2024.
