History

Imafuku-Tsurumi Station (station number N24) opened on 20 March 1990 with the inaugural section of the Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line (now the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line) between Kyōbashi and Tsurumi-ryokuchi. The station sits at the boundary of Jōtō-ku and Tsurumi-ku in Osaka, beneath the intersection of National Route 479 and Tsurumi-dōri. It has a single underground island platform 135 metres long with one ticket gate at the Kyōbashi end. Platform screen doors entered service on 12 January 2011. Operation passed from the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau to Osaka Metro on 1 April 2018.

Notes

The station's decorative theme is the dogwood (hanamizuki), one of the official flowers of Tsurumi-ku, and the concourse features a corresponding hanamizuki mural.
