Location
History
Hirano Station opened on 20 June 1925 as Myōjinmachi Station, an intermediate stop on the Iizaka Densha electric railway that became the Iizaka Line. It was renamed Hirano on 15 August 1927. The station is operated by Fukushima Kōtsū and is located 6.2 km from the Fukushima terminus of the Iizaka Line.
Notes
The station has a single side platform serving one track and is staffed only in the morning and evening; a ticket-vending machine is installed for the unstaffed hours.
