Location
History
Higashiyama Kōen Station opened on 1 April 1963 as an underground station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway's Higashiyama Line, in Chikusa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, 15.1 rail kilometres from the terminus of the line at Takabata. It carries station number H17. Its wicket gates were automated for the Manaca smart card system on 11 February 2011. The station, which takes its name from Higashiyama Park, has a single underground island platform.
