History

Higashi-Hatchō Stop opened on 25 December 1925 on the Toyohashi Railroad Azumada Main Line (stop number 7), at the boundary between Asahimachi and Nishi-Shinmachi in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. The stop sits in mixed-traffic running on Tame-kaidō (Aichi Prefectural Route 4, the Toyohashi–Ōchiba Line) and has opposed-side safety zones for the two directions.
