History
Higashi-Nikkawa Station opened on 19 October 1993.
Notes
The station is a single-platform unstaffed halt placed to serve local commuters in the residential area on the east side of Nikkawa; the east side of the station is given over to small industrial works, including the Dōrin Industrial Works, Yamato Metal Industries and Daishin Industrial.
