History

Higashi-Nakama Station opened on 15 October 1956 on the Chikuhō Electric Railroad Line in what is now the city of Nakama, Fukuoka Prefecture. The station is 7.2 km from the line's terminus at Kurosaki-ekimae and carries the station number CK12. It has two opposed side platforms and is unstaffed; a shop is attached to the up-direction platform building. The line through Higashi-Nakama is operated by the private Chikuhō Electric Railroad (Chikutetsu).
