History

Heiwadai Station is a railway station on Ryūtetsu's Nagareyama Line in Nagareyama, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, numbered RN5. It opened on 1 April 1933 as Akagi Station, became Akagidai Station on 26 June 1965, and took its present name, Heiwadai, on 1 October 1974, drawn from a housing estate that the developer Heiwa Fudōsan had built and sold nearby. Located roughly 5.1 kilometers from Mabashi, the line's starting point, it is a ground-level station with just one side platform, where a single track carries trains in both directions. To the station's east lies a residential district also called Heiwadai, extending toward Nagareyama Station.

Notes

A siding once ran from the station to a nearby Tōhō Shurui liquor factory; it no longer exists.
