History
Hayatsukikazumi Station is on the Toyama Chihō Railway Main Line in Namerikawa, Toyama Prefecture, 24.4 km from the line's origin at Dentetsu-Toyama. It opened on 23 March 1950 — the same day the nearby Hayatsuki Station was renamed Etchū-Nakamura. Signal modernisation work was completed in December 1960, and the station was made unattended on 25 July 1989. Its wooden station building, dating from opening, survives, and the station has two opposed ground-level side platforms connected to that building by a level crossing.
Notes
Platform 1, the side nearer the parallel Ainokaze Toyama Railway line, is worked as a single-track through line: when no train crossing takes place at the station, services in both directions depart from it. Platform 1 is reached from the station building by a level crossing within the station, while platform 2 adjoins the building directly.
