Location

History

Hata Station opened on 10 April 1952 when Kobe Electric Railway — today's Shintetsu — extended its Ao Line from Densha-Ono (the present Ono Station) to Ao. It is the westernmost station managed by Kobe Electric Railway. The station has a single ground-level side platform with an effective length of four cars, with a small prefabricated station building housing the ticket gates at the Ono end of the platform. A remote station-management system connected to the line's optical-fibre network allows the ticket machines, automatic gates, fare adjustment machines, television cameras, intercom and shutters to be operated from a centre station, so Hata is staffed only by patrolling personnel. Its station number is KB58.

Notes

Most of Hata's daily passengers are students commuting to Hyōgo Prefectural Ono Technical High School near the station.
