Location
History
Harima-Shimosato Station opened on 14 August 1917 as Harima-Ōji Station on what is today the Hōjō Line in the city of Kasai, Hyōgo Prefecture. It was renamed to its present name on 1 June 1943. The line eventually passed to the third-sector Hōjō Railway Company, which operates it today. In 2014 the station building and platform were registered by the national government as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. The unattended station consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track, located 8.0 kilometres from the line terminus at Ao Station, and recorded an average of 87 passengers per day in fiscal 2018.
