History

Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station opened on 27 September 1993 as Haneda Airport Station on the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line. Carrying the provisional name "New West Terminal Station" during planning, it was renamed Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Building Station on 1 December 2004 when a sister station opened for the new Terminal 2. Suica entered service on 21 April 2002, and on 14 March 2020 the station took its current name when Haneda's passenger terminals were rebranded. The underground station has one island platform and two tracks, connected directly to the first basement level of the Terminal 1 building.

Notes

This is the only Tokyo Monorail station to have been renamed twice.
