History

Haga-machi Kōgyō-danchi Kanri-sentā-mae Station (no. 17) is an Utsunomiya Light Rail Utsunomiya-Haga LRT Line tram stop in Haga-dai, Haga, Haga District, Tochigi, built west of the "Kanri-sentā-mae" intersection on Tochigi Prefectural Route 69 (Utsunomiya-Motegi). It is the 17th stop from the Utsunomiya Station East origin, positioned as the "town gateway" for Haga and integrated with the Haga Industrial Park Transit Centre to coordinate the LRT with demand-responsive town-wide transit. The provisional name during planning was "Kanri-sentā-mae". Livedo Corporation purchased the naming rights and added the sub-name "Livedo Corporation Tochigi-Haga-kōjō-mae". The stop's name was decided on 23 April 2021, and it opened on 26 August 2023. On 31 March 2026 all scheduled bus routes from this stop were abolished when the JR Bus Kanto Utsunomiya branch closed. The stop has two opposed side platforms.

Notes

The Haga Industrial Park Transit Centre (built at a cost of about 150 million yen) was created inside the grounds of the town-run Haga Industrial Park Management Centre, taking over the functions of the former Haga Bus Terminal: a "public transport zone" with 2 scheduled-bus bays, a bay for the "Fureai Taxi Hibari" demand-responsive on-demand taxi, a taxi bay and 40 bicycle spaces, plus 75 park-and-ride car spaces and 20 more bicycle spaces on the old bus-terminal site. After JR Bus Kanto's Utsunomiya branch closed at the end of March 2026, every scheduled bus route serving the centre was withdrawn, leaving advance-booking services — Haga Town's own demand-responsive transport and the Ichikai and Motegi shared taxis, "Sashiba Fureai-gō" and "Meguru-kun" — as the connecting transit still operating from it.
