History
Gonōkōmae Station traces its history to 13 April 1935, when it opened on the Tsugaru Railway Line in Goshogawara, Aomori, under the original name Ichinotsubo. Operations were suspended on 1 August 1941 and resumed on 20 October 1955. The stop was renamed Gonōkōmae on 1 April 1974 after the adjacent Goshogawara Agricultural High School. A new station building using hiba wood was completed in December 2010; the station's facilities were built by Tsugaru Railway's own staff using old rails. From 1 June 2024 a naming-rights sponsorship with T-Seed Garden gave the station the sub-name 'Seikatsu shi-tsuzukerareru Aomori ni'.
Notes
The current station building dates from December 2010 and is built of hiba wood; the station's facilities were made by Tsugaru Railway's own staff using old rails.
