History
Fukue Station opened on 22 April 1914 on the Chōshū Railway, which was nationalised in 1925; the line was renamed the San'in Main Line in 1933. With the privatisation of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987, control passed to JR West. The unstaffed station consists of a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track, and lies in the city of Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, 665.6 km along the San'in Main Line. In fiscal 2020 it was used by an average of 44 passengers daily.
