Location
History
Esaka Station opened on 24 February 1970 as a stop on the Osaka Municipal Subway Midōsuji Line. It is also served by the Kita-Osaka Kyūkō Railway Namboku Line. The station is numbered M11 and, although part of the Osaka Metro network, lies within Suita City rather than Osaka City. It has an elevated single island platform serving two tracks, with a ticket concourse on the second floor and the platform on the third.
Notes
Esaka Station lies inside neighbouring Suita City rather than Osaka City itself, despite being part of the Osaka Metro network.
